The group coordinator is Mark Pollock. Each month the group visits a site of wildlife interest, usually in Somerset or Wiltshire.

Over the winter we have continued to enjoy birdwatching at sites such as Steart Marshes and West Sedgemoor to see the many wetland birds which visit Somerset every winter. These include many different sorts of wildfowl and waders. Large flocks of Lapwing, Golden Plover and Dunlin were particularly impressive to see at Steart Marshes. Following our visits there was a welcome return to pub lunches as COVID restrictions have eased.
