This group arranges visits to local places of general interest, generally on the first Thursday each month, generally in the morning, running from March to October. Members make their own travel arrangements to arrive at the site of each visit and car sharing is encouraged. Members of the group are encouraged to take their turn choosing and organising trips for the group.

The Group Co-ordinator is Sue Leather.

Announcements giving details of visits planned will be made at main F3A monthly Friday meetings.

Previous trips have included Bath Archives, Clarks Shoe Museum and Yeo Valley Organis Gardens.

Details of where and when to meet and any costs involved will be communicated by email nearer the date of each visit. Any queries please contact Sue as detailed below.

The next planned visit will be on Thursday 6th June and will be another (the third) walk around Frome, led by Alastair Macleay. Last year we had a walk around Keyford and this time we're going to continue that walk. We will meet at 10.15am by the Fire Station. The cost of the walk will be £3 per person, which goes to the charity chosen by the Town Walk Guides, which this year is The Frome Festival. There will be a form for you to indicate your interest in attending at the back at the main monthly meeting on 17th May. Janet Howard has organised the walk and if you have any queries about it please contact her on
